The JR series of melt units are designed for low cost light industrial duties and have many advanced features including; coated melt tanks, RTD temperature control, digital display, event timers and self diagnostics. The KB series of units with their unique tank shape concentrate heat at the bottom of the tank while maintaining cooler temperatures at the top to minimise adhesive degradation and charring. Reliable, smooth output gear pumps handle a wide variety of materials with viscosities up to 25,000 centipoise. KB10e units can accommodate two handguns or automatic heads while the KB20e units are able to accommodate two handguns and four automatic heads. The automatic heads are triggered by an AC or DC signal and are capable of up to 4000 cycles per minute. Both units may be equipped with fixed thermostats, solid state or microprocessor temperature control.
The L5 handgun is a lightweight manual applicator for either extrusion or swirl application and is fitted as standard to all the Slautterback range. Designed to reduce operator fatigue, the L5 features a multi-axis swivel and weighs less than 0.7kg. The ball swivel increases operator comfort and productivity by allowing continuous gluing in any direction or hand position. A distinctive cool-touch handle keeps operator hand well away from heated components. L5 compatible hoses are available in a variety of lengths.
